The SMED-49 is the prototype of the station wagon version of the Smoogo Azam.
It was planned to be put on production in 1975, along with a sedan version, though bad sellings and the various technical problems
of the hatchback version forced Smoogo to discontinue the Azam in 1974, and the SMED-49 project was stopped,
without being put on production lines.
The only working prototype of the car was showed at the 1973 SimCity Autoshow, and after the discontinuation of the Azam,
it has been abandoned in an old SMED facility somewhere UFSR, until it was found in 1996.
