The Yomoshoto Ninja was a five doors hatchback produced from the sapanese automaker
Yomoshoto Motor Corporation from 1988 to 1995.
Originally planned to be launched in 1987, to compete along with the Smoogo 732,
the Ninja was announced as a modern, young car with an "affordable luxury". Placed above the smaller Oleg H,
it was the first and last Yomoshoto exported to the Simoviet Union,
that caused the retirement of the sapanese automaker two years after its debut in simmunist countries.
Exported especially in western Seurope and in Samerica, the Ninja was known for being the first model
that featured the new generation "Yomoshoto F-series" engines, that were known for their extremely low fuel
consumption and for the new YREV (Yomoshoto Revolution-modulated Valve control) system.
It was available with a 92 hp 2.0 litre "F" engine, 1.8 litre standard engine or a 74 hp 2.0 litre turbodiesel "F" engine, with a five or four speed gearbox.
Three different trim levels were available for the car: the cheapest "Basic", the medium "Actual" and the expensive "Excellent",
that offered innovative optionals such as ABS and airbags. Although it was known to have serious rusting problems,
the sellings of the Ninja were higher than its competitor, the Smoogo 732, and it has been discontinued only in 1995,
replaced by the new Flight.
